Early on Thursday moring the body of a man was discovered by Police-Sergeant Scarfe hanging from a tree in a field occupied by Mr. W Breese, at Debenham. Deceased was suspended by a chain, which is supposed to have been taken from a gate nearby. Later in the day the body was identified as that of Arthur Amass, of Bulmer Road, Ipswich, who left his home about noon on Wednesday. Two years ago he broke his leg and he had since been lame. this appears to have preyed upon his mind. He was a native of Debenham and has two brothers resident in the parish. Deceased leaves a widow and 11 children, the youngest being four years of age.7
