     Hanserd Knollys was born circa 1599 in Cawkwell, Lincolnshire, England.1 He was the son of Richard Knollys and Elizabeth Hanserd.1 Hanserd Knollys was baptized on 13 Nov 1609 in St. Peter, Cawkwell, Lincolnshire, England.2 He married Ann Cheany on 22 May 1632 in St. Leodegar, Wyberton, Lincolnshire, England.3 Hanserd Knollys married Elizabeth Trapson on 15 Dec 1669 in St. James, Clerkenwell, London, England.4 Hanserd Knollys died on 19 Sep 1691.1 He was buried after 19 Sep 1691 in Bunhill Fields Cemetery, London, England.1
     
     On 14 Feb 1645 Christ Exhalted: in a sermon begun to be preached at Debenham in Suffolk, upon the 14 day of Febr. last, upon Coloss. 3.11. By Hanserd Knollys. Who was stoned out of the pulpit (as he was preaching) by a company of rude fellowes, and poor women of that town; who were sent for, called together, and set on by a malignant high-constable, who lives in the same town. Also, another sermon, preached at Stradbooke in Suffolk, the 13 day of Febr. last, concerning santification; upon Ephes. 1. 4. London 1645.1
